KPC Receives 5 Stars TOP CSR Award in 2022

Jakarta- PT Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC) was named a 5 Star in the TOP CSR Awards 2022 event held by Top Business Magazine on Wednesday (30/3) night in Jakarta.

The ‘Star 5’ predicate is the highest award for a CSR program, at the 2022 TOP CSR Award event.

This award was received by Rahmad Desmi, GM Sustainable Business Development (SBD), at the Raffles Hotel Ballroom, Jakarta, Wednesday (30/3/2022).

Wawan Setiawan, GM External Affairs and Sustainable Development (ESD), thanked TOP Business Magazine for independently assessing KPC’s CSR program.

“This award demonstrates that KPC’s CSR program has been running smoothly in accordance with applicable rules and regulations, as well as the implementation of the Creating Shared Value (CSV) business strategy, where KPC’s operations are not only business-oriented, but also participate in solving socio-economic problems and the occurrence of a joint business value chain,” Wawan said.

TOP CSR Award 2022 is the highest award event for companies, agencies and institutions that are considered successful in carrying out effective and quality CSR programs.

In this event, KPC is a newcomer and was immediately awarded the 5-star TOP CSR award. This award also shows the successful implementation of the program in the field, as well as the high commitment of top management in implementing Social Responsibility standards that refer to ISO 26000.
