HSES Wins the 2025 Crocodile Boat Race

The Red Otter team from the Health, Safety, Environment and Security (HSES) Division claimed first place at the Crocodile Boat Race 2025, held at the Telaga Batu Arang post-mining pond in Sangatta on Saturday (July 26). Finishing in 3 minutes 30 seconds, the HSES team outpaced Turbo Mud–Mining Operation in second place and Jagau Kandang–External Affairs and Sustainable Development (ESD) in third.

In the women’s category, WKTT Women from HSES also secured the top spot with a time of 5 minutes 04 seconds, followed by Macan–Supply Chain Division (SCD) and Kejar Aku Donk–Mining Operation Division (MOD).

The Crocodile Boat Race is part of KPC’s Green Olympic series, held to commemorate World Environment Day 2025. Other activities included Green Hiking, Enviro Short Video, Green Innovation Think, Green Office Award, and Kadarigat Award. This event serves not only to raise environmental awareness but also to provide healthy recreation for employees, contractors, and their families.(*)
