KPC Achieves Success at IMERC 2025

PT Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC) achieved remarkable success at the Indonesia Mining Emergency Response Community (IMERC) 2025, held on August 14–17 in Balikpapan. The event brought together 18 rescue teams from national and international mining companies to test emergency preparedness and high-standard safety skills.

The KPC Rescue Team won several awards, including 1st Place in Individual Skill, 2nd Place in Structural Fire Fighting and Road Crash Rescue, 3rd Place in Theory Test, and a special award for The Best SCBA.

According to COO and Head of Mining Engineering, Hendro Ichwanto, this achievement reflects KPC’s strong commitment to fostering a safe and sustainable safety culture (K3), while ensuring both employee protection and the sustainability of the mining industry.(*)
